Dark Nights

COVENANT

Dark Nights is a group for vampires, demons, witches, voodoo and all creatures of the night. This is a mature group, designed for roleplay at Phantom Rose's Dark Nights area.

The Dark Nights roleplay (RP) area has several levels of space to use in many ways; some on the ground and some in the air. I have provided some props, animations etc. to help the participants get in the mood and to give some direction for your scenario's.

Section One is very important. It is the Rules. Please read and IM Lannorra Sion if you have any questions.

Section Two is a description of some of the amenities included at the Dark Nights RP Area.

SECTION ONE

RULES:

1. All participants of roleplay at Dark Nights agree to the terms of this Covenant. If you are in the Dark Nights boundaries, you are agreeing to the Rules.

2. No child avatars are allowed at Dark Nights or as members of the group. Any child avatars will be removed without warning. (Child Avatars are allowed at General events held at the Phantom Rose Grid. Please check maturity ratings.)

Small animals or other non human races (e.g. Tinies, furries, fairies) are allowed if they fit the overall roleplay. (examples, fairy creatures, Imps, Jinn, Werewolves, Werepanthers, etc. I am quite open to all supernatural creatures... Please have a back story to explain your creature and a general description of their abilities. thanks).

3. Roleplay is open by agreement of all participants. You may RP on the entire region, but when out of the Dark Nights area, remember that it is not constant midnight (heads up for Vampires w/o Daywalker rings). Also, per agreement with Lannorra Sion the ruler of these lands, you must keep your supernatural abilities from the local humans. Doing all you can to appear "normal". There is free Regency clothing for men and women to help all visitors blend in. Any supernatural who cannot transform themselves into reasonable look of a human will not be able to roam the area in the day time. Many supernaturals have these abilities, though. I have seen that some Mer folk are able to sustain a "landwalker" appearance for limited times.

4. Biting, fighting and nudity are acceptable at Dark Nights. However, they must stay in the Dark Nights Restricted areas.

The Graveyard and other areas on the surface may be used as a RP prelude, but all public chat and rp must conform to the Mature Rating.

5. There is to be no harassment of participants; no means no. Please do not cause me to have to ban you from Phantom Rose.

6. Sex acts are not allowed at Dark Nights at all. What you say in personal IM's is your business. There may be reasons to include a more X rated activity with some rituals. This would be done on case by case basis. Contact me at lannorra-sion@live.com, Subject RP. We can discuss it.

8. Most RP will be in Chat. But be aware that by being in chat, you are in roleplay with anyone in chat distance. Please be considerate to others. Do not deliberately ruin their scenario. Play nice and make this fun.

9. I reserve the right to ban anyone I believe is causing conflict and ruining the fun for everyone else. That said, be aware that I will insist on proof about things and will not engage in "vigilante justice".

10. Roleplay arguments and conflict are fine. Just make sure all participants realize this is roleplay. Use the (( out of character)) brackets and timely IM's to make sure everyone is on same page and comfortable.

SECTION TWO

DARK NIGHTS AREA GUIDE:

GROUND LEVEL: Dark Nights Is quite a large space with ground level and special areas above. On the surface, there is a wonderful maze to explore with a free prize if you reach the middle!

You will also find the entrance to an interactive Role Play Adventure, Dark Fantasy. This area takes you on a quest to meet the dangerous ambassadors of Vampires, Witches, Demons and Voodoo. Its purpose is two fold. One it's an interactive quest with rewards. It's fun and something to do. The second is for those new to Dark Fantasy role play. It will give you a little taste of each supernatural being included and help you decide if you like RP and and what being you might wish to become.

There is also a Dark Nights Portal that has a menu of RP destinations. Witches, Warlocks and Voodoo practitioners use the Portal to get to your circles.

You can also follow trails that will lead you to open for free style Role Play for Druids and Wiccan Magic dealers. Down the river near the Pagan Drum Circle is a beautiful space for meeting and meditating. Each area gives you all you and your friends need to create your own RP and story!

UPPER LEVEL:

The Gathering - BON TEMPS MANSION.

You land near the gate of this estate. The mansion's first floor is divided into space for a ballroom and a throne room, where Vampires, Demons, etc can sit in splendor with their familiars/minions at their feet.

You will find two Hunts available, with Free Prizes for completion.

The second floor of Bon Temps Mansion has a conference room that can be used by anyone. It is intended for Clan meetings, etc. Please check out our Clan registration and Clan Perks! Even if you are a clan of 1 at the moment, you can still register and join the Great Council. The other room is the Ceremonial Room, where you may hold rituals and rites. I am working on some automated ones that I hope to be able to offer soon. For the meantime, if you would like to rez objects for a Ritual, please contact Lannorra Sion.


DEMONS LEVEL:

Demons have their own place in Hades. I have set up a very atmospheric area for Demon RP. There is a ceremonial area and I am more than happy to add more for the Demon Community upon request. If you have an ideas please IM me.



Lastly, the Metaverse is vast and the people spread out. If you are alone, you can still have fun with the interactive hunts, RP Dark Fantasy and several other areas. If you want to role play with others, I am happy to set up an event for you to host, in order to gather people who are interested. I am not always available for Role play, but I am open to scheduling time to engage with new people. Bon Temps has a conference room and is open to everyone to use on a first come, first served basis. You can fill out a Clan/Coven/Pack registration and become a part of the Dark Night RP group. As we get people interested in joining us, we have lots of up coming plans... including a feeding/hunting ground and a dangerous area for Vampire Hunters to hone their skills!
