Akrotiri Region

Phantom Rose Mer Nation

Akrotiri is the starting Region for the Phantom Rose Mer Nation!  Based on the ancient Minoan city that was located on Strongili (now known as Santorini), Akrotiri was an important outpost for the Minoan's.  It was destroyed by and enormous volcanic eruption around 1600 BC.

The Grid has 8 Mer folk areas at the present time.  Each is themed to the Region of it's origin.  Starting at Akrotiri, Mer folk can Hypergrid into Phantom Rose Grid, and use the Mermaid Portal to access every area, while still staying underwater! 

Along your undersea journey there are plenty of free gifts, usually found at the landing points.
